Polaski Dental Group was established in 1995 by Doctor Farah Polaski in order to provide quality dentistry, state-of-the-art technology, and an emphasis on patient care.
In 2000, she purchased and renovated a prominent and historic building on the corner of Ulster Avenue and Market Street, in the historic village of Saugerties. This move allowed the group to expand, create a soothing, relaxing environment, and ensure the space allowed for maintaining state-of-the-art equipment in their facility since their opening in 2002.

  Dr. Farah Polaski, or as her patients know her, Dr. Farah, graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Growing up in New York City, Dr. Farah attended the prestigious Bronx High School of Science, and completed her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene at Columbia University. She decided to continue her study of dental hygiene by becoming a dentist.
Dr. Farah is a member of the American Dental Association, and 3rd District Dental Society, and is an active member of the community.
 Dr. Mercedes Wert completed her dental training at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. A New Jersey native, she attended Fairleigh Dickinson University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in biology and minor in chemistry as well as a Master’s of Science in health sciences. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Hispanic Dental Association.
In her free time Dr. Mercedes enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and finding new places to explore.
We take great pride in knowing we have a dedicated, knowledgeable and caring staff. Our hygienists, dental assistants, and front desk staff are ready to assist or care for you as needed. Our staff is also local to the area, and are all highly qualified, with the entire office keeping up with annual state-mandated continuing education courses. Our two dental hygienists have over 25 years of combined experience.
